The World of Roger Williams
I am creating The Roger Williams Educational Foundation. I have a new web-site for this project at rwefoundation.org. There is a group of real Roger Williams experts. helping me: Dr. David Weed, Sowams Historic Area https://sowamsheritagearea.org/wp/sowams-heritage-area-project/, Dawn Williams who just stepped down as the President of the Roger Williams Family Association, http://rogerwilliams.org/ , and Tyler Grimes, a writer working on a piece about the history of Roger Williams through to the Plymouth Witch Trials. When you go to the site, you will find my essays, and some other writings about Roger Williams.. We are running a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to create a real Foundation. Hi: This is where you can comment. Not many people know anything about Roger Williams. His is just an old name from the past. What we all need to know is that Roger Williams was a political leader and theologian.
As a political leader, he created THE FIRST DEMOCRACY IN THE MODERN WORLD!!!!! His work included writing the first constitution, and that constitution grew into a model for ALL constitutions that followed. As a theologian, he worked towards conceiving and building a new Christianity!!
